On April 14, 2018, Tom Laaser, who served in Afghanistan, and Lawrence Kirby, a heavy combat WW II veteran who fought in some of the fiercest Pacific battles, and Medic addressed an audience of one hundred people at the Community House in Hamilton, MA.
Headlined as “Telling Our Stories,” the event was part of the Wenham Museum’s Pathways of Patriots Speaker Series. Bob Patton, the grandson of famed WWII General George Patton, made the opening remarks. He discussed the historic items on display and described the Gen. George Patton archive, recently donated to the museum. Two Gold Star families followed the veteran’s panel.
